Conscious Aging Counseling

Annette Geldzahler is a therapist in her own conscious aging chapter, working online with older adults across Massachusetts, New Jersey, Florida, Colorado, and Washington. Many of her clients have already done a lot of therapy elsewhere and want something less symptom-focused.

Most therapist sites are built for a younger, symptom-driven audience, which can leave older adults feeling like an afterthought. We slowed this one down instead, with long paragraphs, quiet photography of trees and open water, and language that treats reflection as the work itself. The navigation splits conscious aging, mortality, and clinical concerns like depression and trauma into their own pages, so a visitor can go straight to what is on their mind.
